Getting into the Fiber Arts
Knitting * Crochet * Tatting * Spinning * Sewing

My grandmother taught me how to knit a scarf for a doll when I was little. It wasn't until I started college that I decided to pick up the needles again. It started with a green chenille scarf then others wanted one as well. I attempted crochet a couple years later and failed miserably but it wasn't until I got a crochet kit and tried to crochet a baby kimono while I was pregnant with my first that it clicked and I grew to love it. The past few months I've also picked up tatting. I'm a work in progress.

Anyone can learn, don't give up. Your confidence will build as you complete more patterns that use different skills. Everyone has to start somewhere. This blog is a collection of my thoughts, designs and links/lists of resources that have helped me throughout the learning process. Any ideas, comments or questions? Feedback is always welcomed and appreciated. Feel free to email me.
